Essentoils and Amala Essential Oils is a woman owned and operated company that is proudly South African. Founded by Debbie Little in early 2020, it has grown from strength to strength as the demand for essential oils and natural health alternatives grows.

Debbie was searching for effective natural alternatives for her children’s allergies, congestion, focus and occasional anxiety when she was introduced to essential oils on 2019 and was utterly intrigued that these natural plant medicines could have such profound effects on our daily lives and health. She quickly immersed herself in learning as much as she possibly could about them. She also but found that all the beautiful, useful and necessary accessories and supplies were hard to come by at the time, so she made it her mission to source them and make them available and affordable for South African oilers.

The company that began as an accessory and packaging supplier to essential oil users in South Africa has now expanded to include Amala, a range of certified organic essential oils. Debbie’s goal is to share pure, organic essential oils with the home users, spas and other essential oil-based businesses at affordable prices, so that many more people can experience their healing and transformative qualities.

Amala is the Sanskrit word for “Pure” and it defines who we are as an essential oil company. All of our oils are guaranteed to be 100% pure essential oils, nothing else. We only source essential oils from carefully vetted suppliers and will never supply oils that have fillers, synthetic additives or toxic chemicals added to them.
