Detailed description of goods and/or services
Essentoils is a business in the health and wellness industry that supplies goods and accessories for use with essential oils. Many of our selected products are health-related and we support that which is pure and natural; however we are not medical professionals. Please consult with your health care practitioner when seeking medical advice.
Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 days and delivery confirmed by way of courier or collection. Delivery costs are R90 to cities and R125 elsewhere in South Africa or free for orders over R900. Delivery to cities usually takes 2-3 working days, and can take from 3-7 working days Nationally, depending on where you are situated.
Please note: We will not be held responsible for the costs of redelivery if you do not give us the correct address and a daytime South African number that you are able to answer if the courier needs to call you. If the parcel is returned to us for reasons of not being able to contact you, you will be liable to pay a second delivery fee.

Customer Privacy policy
Essentoils shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.
Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Essentoils bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Essentoils via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on
the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Essentoils separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
Essentoils takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Disclaimer
We shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately reflect the description, availability, purchase price and delivery charges of Goods on the Website. However, should there be any errors of whatsoever nature on the Website (which are not due to our gross negligence), we shall not be liable for any loss, claim or expense relating to a transaction based on any error, save – in the case of any incorrect purchase price – to the extent of refunding you for any amount already paid, or otherwise as set out in the Returns Policy.
The images contained in this site are for the sole purposes of marketing and sales and are not for duplication or reuse outside of the website. Some images are also for illustration only and may differ in quantity, color or design to the product that you receive. Please carefully read the written description of each product to fully understand the details of the item.
We retain the right to control all items and products sold on our website without notice to Users and we shall not be made liable to you or any third part for any modification to, or withdrawal of a product from the Website. Likewise we retain the right to amend product information, including prices, without prior notification.
All orders are subject to acceptance in accordance with product availability and payment terms. Should the item purchased not be in stock you will be contacted by telephone or email and offered the option to cancel your order and receive a refund, to wait for the item to return to stock or accept an alternative product.
We endeavor to be as accurate as possible with our order, however sometimes mistakes are made. Should you receive an order with an item missing, Essentoils needs to be informed within 3 days of receipt of the parcel. We will not be held liable to replace items missing from an order if we are informed later than 3 days from receipt of the order.
Refusal of transaction
We reserve the right to refuse to process any order for any reason of refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We retain the right to credit a transaction and cancel the order at any stage of the process prior to delivery.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Essentoils chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Variation
Essentoils may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
