Our wild harvested Buddha Wood Oil is steam distilled from the heartwood and bark of the Eremophila mitchellii, a small tree native to the grazing land of eastern Australia. Also known as Australian Desert Rosewood, this sturdy shrub was traditionally used by the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia for it’s strong antibacterial and analgesic properties. With its deep, woody aroma, thick, viscous texture, and a deep amber hue, Buddha Wood Essential Oil is often compared with the more common Sandalwood Oil, although the chemistry and aroma differ entirely.
Buddha wood is quickly gaining recognition worldwide as a subtle fixative and blender in perfumery, a deeply centering mediation aid and healing essential oil.

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here.
Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.
