Our organic Cardamom Essential Oil is steam distilled from the aromatic, flavorful seeds of the perennial Elettaria cardamomum plant, also known as the Queen of Spice, native to Sri Lanka and Southern India. This luscious, exotic essential oil has an enchanting, warm, aromatic sweet-spicy, somewhat medicinal aroma. The lovely aroma is found to be uplifting, invigorating and refreshing, adding a little spice on its own or to blends.
A member of the Ginger family, Cardamom is a well-known culinary spice and is used extensively around the globe as a lively flavoring agent. This essential oil blends especially well with oils that are in the wood, resin, floral, spice and citrus families.

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here.
Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.
