Clary Sage Organic Essential Oil

Our organic Clary Sage Essential Oil is steam distilled from the pastel purple flowers and soft green leaves of the Salvia sclarea perennial plant cultivated in the mountain regions of France. Clary Sage is also known by the names clear eye and eye bright because of its traditional use as a treatment for eye health.

With its fresh, warm, sweet-herbaceous and slightly bitter aroma Clary Sage Essential Oil boasts the rare ability to soothe the stressed nerves and emotions provoked by the hormonal cycle, and has hence earned the reputation as the Woman's Oil.

Each and every batch of Amala essential oils is tested by an independent international laboratory before being sent to us. A Certificate of Analysis is issued, stating the purity of the oil.

AROMATHERAPY

Clary Sage Oil can be used or many women’s health concerns, from endometriosis to PMS and Menopause, to breast health and hot flashes. Many women find it to be a fantastic natural remedy for menstrual pain and menopausal symptoms. Along with helping to ease muscle spasms, Clary Sage Oil can help reduce minor pain and inflammation. This essential oil may help minimize the presence of unwelcome bacterial activity and work to boost a compromised immune system. Clary Sage Oil is also a lovely support for healthy lung function and can help open the airways during a minor asthma attack.

Clary Sage Oil has also been known to soothe irritated or inflamed eyes. Simply lay a cloth that has been soaked in warm water and a few drops of Clary Sage Oil over the eyes for 10 minutes.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.

Do not use internally unless instructed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. Essential oils are highly concentrated and powerful oils and can cause serious harm if ingested without the necessary expertise required - for this reason, ingestion of essential oils is NOT recommended.
