Cypress Organic Essential Oil

Our organic Cypress Essential Oil is steam distilled from the brightly aromatic cones, leaves, and twigs of the Cupressus sempervirens trees growing wild in the hills and mountains of Spain. Cypress Essential Oil has a fresh, clean, deep green balsamic aroma with that is herbaceous, spicy, with slightly woody evergreen undertones.

Its natural chemical composition makes Cypress Essential Oil widely used within skin and hair care, holistic wellbeing, massage, soap making, fragrance and cleaning applications intended to support wellness and a healthy environment.

Each and every batch of Amala essential oils is tested by an independent international laboratory before being sent to us. A Certificate of Analysis is issued, stating the purity of the oil.

AROMATHERAPY

Along with helping to encourage healthy circulation, Cypress Essential Oil is a great choice when looking to ease unwanted muscle spasms and relive restless legs and poor circulation.

Cypress Essential Oil is also recommended for inclusion in blends formulated to bring ease and relief in the instance of spasmodic coughing, or to help open the airways in the early onset moments of a minor asthma attack. Cypress Oil deepens and expands the breath and is very beneficial to use in your diffuser or formulations in times of stress.

Cypress Essential Oil benefits are known to help regulate blood flow and detoxify the lymphatic system and lessen water retention. It has also been know to relieve the swelling of varicose veins and hemorrhoids.

COSMETICS

Cypress Oil is an effective astringent and is well suited for inclusion in facial toners, after shaves and other applications that benefit from astringency. Cypress contains monoterpenes, making it beneficial for oily skin conditions. DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.

Do not use internally unless instructed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. Essential oils are highly concentrated and powerful oils and can cause serious harm if ingested without the necessary expertise required - for this reason, ingestion of essential oils is NOT recommended.
