Juniper Berry Organic Essential Oil

Our organic Juniper Berry Essential Oil is steam distilled from the stunning blue berries of the Juniperus communis evergreen tree cultivated in forested regions of India. With its fresh, woody-balsamic, slightly sweet aroma, Juniper Berry Essential Oil has a rich history of traditional uses and benefits. Juniper Essential Oil has been widely used as a culinary fragrance component and is the main aromatic agent in Gin.

Interestingly all of the aerial parts of the Juniper bush can be distilled, however, the ripe berries are considered the most therapeutic part of the plant.

Each and every batch of Amala essential oils is tested by an independent international laboratory before being sent to us. A Certificate of Analysis is issued, stating the purity of the oil.

AROMATHERAPY

When inhaled through direct palm inhalation or diffused, richly balsamic and resinous-sweet Juniper Berry Essential Oil works to support clear breathing, detoxification and cleansing. Employed this way, along with therapeutic massage, Juniper Berry Oil invigorates, strengthens and refreshes the bodies as well as supports the detoxification of the skin. This essential oil is also useful when wanting to help with minor pain and inflammation management as well as to reduce the presence of unwanted bacteria and fungus.

Juniper Berry Oil is known to soothe and strengthen the nerves. It has also been seen to ease certain health complaints such as urine retention, arthritis, rheumatism, gout, kidney stones and urinary tract infections.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.
