Neroli Organic Essential Oil

Our certified organic Neroli Essential Oil is steam distilled from the handpicked delicate white blossoms of Citrus aurantium var amara, also known as the Bigaradia, or Bitter Orange trees, growing in sun-bathed Moroccan citrus groves. With its strong, herbaceous, citrusy, floral aroma, Neroli Essential Oil is a precious floral essential oil, particularly potent, and best used in small amounts.

Neroli Oil is sought after by perfumists and aromatherapists alike for its higher percentage of natural Linalyl acetate. This is one of the highly recommended essential oils to use when wanting to bring balance and peace to the mind, body, and spirit.

Interestingly, Neroli is obtained from the same plant as Petitgrain Essential Oil (which is distilled from the green twigs and fresh leaves) and Sweet Orange Essential Oil (which is extracted from the fruit rind).

Each and every batch of Amala essential oils is tested by an independent international laboratory before being sent to us. A Certificate of Analysis is issued, stating the purity of the oil.

 
REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES

AROMATHERAPY

Neroli Essential Oil is primarily known to balance moods whilst reducing symptoms of stress. When used in aromatherapy practices it has been seen to lower blood pressure and pulse rates by reducing cortisol levels (the stress hormone).

This essential oil can help ease unwanted muscle spasms and work to reduce minor pain and inflammation. Often, Neroli Oil is used to boost a compromised immune system or help keep one from coming down with a cold or the flu.

Neroli Oil has also been seen to assist with premenstrual symptoms such as poor moods, pain and bloating.

COSMETICS

Along with bringing balance to the entire system, Neroli Essential Oil is deeply nourishing and rejuvenating for the skin. Its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties have a toning, cleaning, and tightening effect on the skin.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.

Do not use internally unless instructed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. Essential oils are highly concentrated and powerful oils and can cause serious harm if ingested without the necessary expertise required - for this reason, ingestion of essential oils is NOT recommended.
