This reed diffuser base formulation is designed with excellent scent distribution in mind. Create your own diffuser using essential oils or other base fragrance with confidence.
The finished diffuser should last up to three months once opened.
Note that you do not need to add anything to this oil, as it is formulated to be blended with essential oils. No alternative carrier oils are needed.
Combine with one or two of our stunning Reed Diffuser Jars and packs of extra Diffuser Sticks to make your own diffusers. We recommend 125ml of base oil plus your choice of essential oils per jar.
DIRECTIONS:
Measure out the Fragrance oil, recommended ratio of 5 -15%. I.e. 125ml = 5 –15ml fragrance/essential oil and top up with the base oil. (Note: this will completely depend on the strength you want to achieve.) First pour in the fragrance or essential oil carefully, then top up with the base oil then swirl or and shake the mixture, leave this for at least an hour to settle before adding the reeds.
Please note that these are guidelines, and own testing is required at all times.
*NOTE – Some fragrances are very potent in their composition, and needs a lesser % with the base oil. When the product is blended at to a high % ratio, the base oil will turn a milky colour and the fragrance will not blend 100%, ie The fragrance will float at the top – rectify this by adding more base oil until the mixture turns completely clear.

CAUTION:
We recommend caution when working with diffuser base oil. Only use this base oil to make reed diffusers.
Diffuser oil can damage polished/painted/plastic or leather surfaces. Only place the diffuser on a stable surface, away from any electrical sockets or equipment.
Keep out of the reach of children & pets. People with perfume sensitivity should be cautious when using the product.
Flammable liquid. Do not light the reeds, ingest fragrance or base oil, apply to the body.
