Rose Geranium Organic Essential Oil

Our organic Rose Geranium Essential Oil, also popularly known as Rose-Scented Geranium Oil, is steam distilled from the leaves and flowering tops of the Pelargonium roseum plant. The cooling, uplifting Rose-scented Geranium Oil from Reunion Islands has long been adored both for the delicious complexity of its bouquet and for the broad range of its applications.

Each and every batch of Amala essential oils is tested by an independent international laboratory before being sent to us. A Certificate of Analysis is issued, stating the purity of the oil.

AROMATHERAPY

Rose Geranium Essential Oil is frequently used in aromatherapy, skin care, soap making and massage applications. This oil is often used in aromatherapy to encourage serenity and a balanced emotional state due to its wonderful aroma. It is also mildly astringent and has antibacterial and antifungal properties.  This oil is also widely cherished as a powerful assistant in promoting ease and grace during a woman's monthly cycle, easing the symptoms of PMS.

COSMETICS

Rose Geranium Oil has also been shown to be very helpful for treating rosacea and broken capillaries. It has anti-inflammatory properties that help calm skin inflammation and irritation, and it works to balance dry and oily skin whilst keeping it clear and supple. This oil is also used in shampoos and other hair care products because of its ability to balance scalp oils.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.

Do not use internally unless instructed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. Essential oils are highly concentrated and powerful oils and can cause serious harm if ingested without the necessary expertise required - for this reason, ingestion of essential oils is NOT recommended.
