Our organic East Indian Sandalwood Essential Oil is sustainably produced from the exquisitely fragrant heartwood of the Santalum album tree ethically harvested in the plantations of southern India. Produced by a complete distillation, our magnificent Sandalwood Oil has a very deep, soft, sweet-woody aroma. Our Indian Sandalwood Oil has the most 'woody' notes, along with the heavenly sweet tone expected out of high-quality Sandalwood Essential Oil.

One of perfumery's most revered substances, Indian Sandalwood is beloved for its sweet, warm, woody and rich aroma and is a world-renowned and highly desired ingredient in body care, skin care, natural perfumes, and incense for its incomparable fragrance and deeply calming effects. This exquisite oil is composed for the most part of the sesquiterpene alcohol - alpha-santalol - a compound that gives viscosity and a woody aroma as well as being responsible for much of its biological effects.

AROMATHERAPY

Along with helping reduce the presence of unwanted bacterial, fungal, and viral activity, Sandalwood Oil is often used to ease unwanted muscle spasms and help with minor pain and inflammation management. This essential oil is also incredibly supportive of healthy lung function and has been seen to assist with sore throats, chest infections and dry coughs. Sandalwood Essential Oil, along with its natural calming effect, has been seen to assist with fatigue.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.
