Ylang Ylang Organic Essential Oil

Our organic Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is steam distilled from the freshly picked, honeyed blossoms of the tall Cananga odorata var. genuina tree growing wild in the forests of Madagascar. As one of the world’s most popular essential oils, with its intensely sweet, highly floral aroma with fruity, woody, spicy, slightly balsamic notes, the powerfully scented Ylang Ylang Oil is ideal to incorporate into skincare, aroma therapeutic, and natural perfumery products.

Because of its great use in perfumery applications, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is traditionally distilled for varying lengths to produce essential oils with differing constituents and aromatic profiles. Our Ylang Ylang Complete is the result of a continuous, uninterrupted distillation of up to 18 hours, rendering a full spectrum, non-fractionated (complete) oil. In aromatherapy, there is no better expression of this sensual flower than in the wide spectrum of therapeutic and aromatic possibilities offered by Ylang Ylang Complete Oil.

Each and every batch of Amala essential oils is tested by an independent international laboratory before being sent to us. A Certificate of Analysis is issued, stating the purity of the oil.

It is beneficial to those feeling anxious or stressed and has also been seen to assist with sleep because its soothing action helps quieten the brain and central nervous system.  Ylang Ylang is also widely recognised for its ability to help relieve extreme mood swings.

It is a powerful oil to use in sexual health, both to balance hormones and stimulate low libido. Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is also an antispasmodic and can be used for colic and stomach aches.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.

Do not use internally unless instructed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. Essential oils are highly concentrated and powerful oils and can cause serious harm if ingested without the necessary expertise required - for this reason, ingestion of essential oils is NOT recommended.
