Helichrysum Wild Harvested Essential Oil

Our beautiful Helichrysum Essential Oil, also commonly known as Immortelle Essential Oil or Everlasting Oil, is steam distilled from the hearty, yellow flowering tops of the Helichrysum italicum plant that grows wild in the dry, often rocky Mediterranean fields and mountains of Croatia. It is a stunningly beautiful therapeutic essential oil that makes an excellent addition to skin care formulas. Its aroma is rich, herbaceous and honey with tea-like, earthy undertones.

Helichrysum italicum means golden sun of Italy and is evocative of the striking habitat of this plant in its bright maize-colored meadows. Immortelle is French for immortal or everlasting and refers to the straw-like flowers that appear living even after they have dried - in a bright yellow color as if frozen in time. Immortelle is a plant that can grow in even the most depleted soils and under very harsh conditions, provided there is abundant sunshine.

Each and every batch of Amala essential oils is tested by an independent international laboratory before being sent to us. A Certificate of Analysis is issued, stating the purity of the oil.

In addition to helping ease unwanted muscle spasms, Helichrysum italicum Essential Oil is welcome when looking to purify from unwanted microbial infections and help manage muscle tension, as it is helpful with pain and inflammation management.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.

Do not use internally unless instructed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. Essential oils are highly concentrated and powerful oils and can cause serious harm if ingested without the necessary expertise required - for this reason, ingestion of essential oils is NOT recommended.
