Our Blue Tansy Essential Oil is steam distilled from the beautiful golden flowering tops of the sustainably wildcrafted Tanacetum annuum perennial plant that grow wild in the Moroccan countryside. This luxurious, rare and complex dark blue essential oil is cherished for its captivating, sweet, herbaceous aroma and incredible clearing, calming properties.

Precious Blue Tansy Oil is produced from a seasonal crop that requires optimal conditions, and quantities can be limited.

Each and every batch of Amala essential oils is tested by an independent international laboratory before being sent to us. A Certificate of Analysis is issued, stating the purity of the oil.

AROMATHERAPY

Cooling Blue Tansy Essential Oil is primarily known for its powerful anti-inflammatory and analgesic abilities. Blue Tansy Essential Oil can help ease unwanted muscle spasms and also help reduce the presence of unwanted bacterial, fungal, or viral activity. This essential oil is often used to help ease nerve pain, acute arthritis, dermatitis, tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, muscle cramps, nerve pain and fibromyalgiaa. Owing to its cooling antioxidant properties, Blue Tansy Essential Oil is recommended to help alleviate the pain of sunburn and to help minimize skin damage caused by free radicals.

COSMETICS

From a skincare perspective, the anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties within Blue Tansy Oil work to repair damaged skin caused by breakouts, wounds, sunburn and abrasions. It has also been said to be an effective anti-wrinkle agent. Chamazulene, a chemical component in Blue Tansy, provides the characteristic deep blue color and is recognized for its skin soothing benefits. At the same time, the main chemical component Sabinene helps diminish the appearance of blemishes.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil and use in an easy to apply roller bottle. For a guide on how much to use, see our dilution chart here. 

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or apply to your wrists and inhale. You can also add a few drops to your hands and form a 'tent' over your nose and inhale. A great way to diffuse when you are on the go is to use diffuser jewellery or a car diffuser.
