Open Airways Essential Oil Blend

Our Open Airways blend is a specially formulated essential oil blend, designed to bring relief to those suffering from sinus infections, blocked sinuses, allergies, and flu-like symptoms. Comprised of 100% pure Eucalyptus, Lavender, Cypress, Tea Tree, Cardamom and Myrrh essential oils, this blend has been seen to open airways and alleviate congestion.

INGREDIENTS

Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Eucalyptus smithii)

Eucalyptus Oil is the go-to when looking to help support healthy lung activity, especially when experiencing a cold or flu-like symptoms. In addition to helping support a healthy respiratory system, Eucalyptus Essential Oil can also be immensely advantageous when looking to reduce unwanted microbes, bacteria, fungus, and viruses. It has been known to purify the air whilst removing airborne viruses.

Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)

The natural antihistamine properties of Lavender Oil are very effective to combat running eyes, noses and congestion associated with seasonal allergies and colds and flu. Its sedating properties have also been seen to assist to soothe a cough.

Cypress Essential Oil (Cupressus sempervirens)

Cypress Essential Oil has been seen to bring ease and relief in the instance of spasmodic coughing, or to help open the airways. Cypress oil clears up congestion and eliminates phlegm that builds up in the respiratory tract and lungs. The oil calms the respiratory system and works as an antispasmodic agent. Cypress essential oil is also an antibacterial agent, giving it the ability to treat respiratory infections that are caused by bacterial overgrowth.

Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)

Tea Tree Oil is prized for supporting a healthy respiratory system and can prove useful for treating coughs and other lung ailments. It is one of the most well-known essential oils for purifying and cleansing, and effectively supports the immune system.

Myrrh Essential Oil (Commiphora myrrha)

Myrrh Oil is a natural expectorant and is very helpful when needing to relieve congestion and mucus.

Cardamom Essential Oil (Elettaria cardamomum)

Cardamom Oil has a lively array of oxides and ester molecules that have an affinity for the respiratory systems. This warming essential oil is a natural decongestant.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Diffusing:

For those struggling with congested airways, add a few drops of Open Airways Essential Oil Blend to your Aromatherapy Diffuser, Car Diffuser, or Diffuser Jewellery.
We recommend inhalation as the most effective use of this blend.

Topical Application:

You can receive the benefits of Open Airways by diluting this essential oil blend into a preferred carrier oil (we recommend Fractionated Coconut Oil), add this dilution to a roller bottle and apply to your pulse points (temples, wrists, behind the ears and on the soles of the feet).

Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes.

Do not use internally unless instructed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. Essential oils are highly concentrated and powerful oils and can cause serious harm if ingested without the necessary expertise required - for this reason, ingestion of essential oils is NOT recommended.

We do not recommend using essential oils on pets, unless under the care of a veterinarian or aromatherapist.

Essential Oils are very concentrated and are likely to cause irritation or reactions if applied directly to the skin. For this reason, we recommend diluting your essential oils before using topically (on the skin). We recommend a 2-4% dilution for skin application.
